LMV Oktoberfest The most popular event in La Mesa Village each year is our annual Oktoberfest celebration. Now in its 34th year, it has become the oldest and largest celebration in East County, with more than 200,000 visitors during the three days of the event. |

| LMV Christmas In The Village For one weekend in December La Mesa Village is transformed into a holiday wonderland. Throughout the entire holiday season the neighborhood is beautifully lit and decorated, but on this special Friday and Saturday night it becomes a magical place reminiscent of times past, an old fashioned Christmas in the Village. |

LMV Back to the 50's Car Show One of the most popular events in La Mesa Village is our Thursday Night Car Show. This is the sixteenth year of the Car Show and it continues to grow in popularity. It is a time for friends and families to gather, enjoy supper in one of our local restaurants, and stroll the boulevard in our balmy weather. |

| LMV Antique Street Faire The street faire area will include La Mesa Boulevard, from Spring Street east to 4th Street, much of the same area in which the La Mesa Oktoberfest is held annually. Featured will be 100 Vendors, displaying genuine antiques & collectibles only, appraisals & demonstrations, music and food with free parking and admission! |

| LMV Flag Day Parade On July 14, 1997, with the vision and commitment of Councilwoman Ruth Sterling, the City of La Mesa inaugurated its First Annual Flag Day Parade. On this same day the Citys new official flag was presented to Mayor Art Madrid. Since that day the beautiful new blue flag has flown at City Hall beneath the American Flag. |

| LMV Farmer's Market Farm-fresh goods are offered for sale by fifteen to twenty certified vendors in the Municipal Parking Lot on Allison Avenue, one block East of Spring Street and one block North of La Mesa Blvd. The Farmers Market takes place every Friday afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. |
